Atomic Design
Atomic Design is a methodology created by Brad Frost in 2013 with his original blog post. You may also need to read the book to understand how to use Atoms, Molecules, Organisms, Templates and Pages.
Design System
Design System is a large subject. There are a lot of things around it. Design Systems by Alla Kholmatova seems to be a good start to have ideas on what it is. You can also discuss about it on the Design Systems Slack.
